Institute of Forestry (IoF), Tribhuvan University (TU) and Department of Science and Technology (DST), GP Koirala Foundation (GPKF) agreed to enter into cooperation by signing a memorandum of understanding (MoU). The MoU signing took place at Office of the Dean of Institute of Forestry, TU, on June 21, 2020. The MoU was signed by Dean of IoF Prof. Krishna Raj Tiwari and Director of Department of Science and Technology, GPKF, Dr. Tara P Banjade in the presence of Chairperson of GP Koirala Foundation Hon. Sujata Koirala. On behalf of IoF the research director Prof. Santosh Rayamajhi will lead and coordinate as a research faculty. The MoU is a form of mutual commitment and cooperation in research topics related to Herbal Medicine, Forestry, Agroforestry, Eco-tourism, Park and Recreation Management, Environmental Science, Wildlife, Protected Area Management, Soil Conservation & Watershed Management etc.
