Chairperson of the Girija Prasad Koirala Foundation and the leader of Nepali Congress Hon. Sujata Koriala inaugurated the distribution ceremony of tubewells in a function held today in Gobindapur of Morang district.
The Foundation has initiated the distribution and installation of one thousand tube wells in Morang. Foundation with the support of China Foundation for Peace and Development will provide and install the tubewells under the China Nepal Livelihood Project for Safe Drinking Water for the people of 18 VDCs of constituency no. 1 and 4 of Morang district.
In the function, Chairperson of the Foundation Ms Koirala distributed 172 tubewells in Gobindpur VDC and 109 tubewells in Sijuwa VDC. On the occasion, leader Koirala said that the political as well as development works should go together with priority to fulfill the dreams of Girija Prasad Koirala.
Foundation is also going to distribute 1000 tubelwells for the people of Rupandehi District in Lumbini region after the completion of distribution and installation of 1000 tubewells in Morang district.
