Banjade pursued his Ph.D. in applied mathematics on geophysics from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin China. His research direction and interests are the application of mathematical algorithms for seismic data processing (1D and 2D), Hydrocarbon Detection, Ground Penetrating Radar Data Processing, Biomedical Image Processing and application of Deep Learning (CNN based) for seismic data. He worked in the foundation as an international affairs member in 2017-2019. Currently, he is director of the Department of Science and Technology in the Foundation. He is also visiting scientist at Research Center for Applied Science and Technology (RECAST), Tribhuvan University.
