A remarkable cultural and diplomatic event was held to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between Nepal and the People’s Republic of China. The event was jointly inaugurated by Excellency Chen Song, Ambassador of China to Nepal, and Hon. Sujata Koirala, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Nepal.
Held in a spirit of friendship and mutual respect, the program featured an art and cultural exhibition showcasing traditional and modern artwork symbolizing the long-standing ties between the two nations. The dignitaries lit a ceremonial lamp to mark the occasion and toured the exhibition, which displayed both Nepali and Chinese artistic heritage.
Speaking at the event, Ambassador Chen Song emphasized the importance of continued cooperation and cultural exchange between Nepal and China. Hon. Sujata Koirala highlighted the historic and strategic value of bilateral relations and reaffirmed Nepal’s commitment to further strengthening this enduring partnership.
This celebration not only honored seven decades of diplomatic engagement but also served as a platform to deepen cultural understanding and people-to-people connectivity between the two nations.
