Marvin Brustin is the founder, President and Owner of Brustin and Lundblad, Ltd. He is the Honorary Consul General of Nepal and a member of the Chicago Consular Corps. which consists of 81 Consulates from throughout the world. He is the elected attorney for the Chicago Consular Corps. as well as an elected member for the past five years of the Executive Committee of the Chicago Consular Corps. which consists of 6 Consul Generals, and he is the attorney for the Republic of South Africa, Chicago.

Marvin Brustin has to his credit over 25 million and multi-million dollar jury verdicts and settlements. He has had over 100 jury trials with a high degree to success and has been frequently listed in Crains Chicago Business List of Illinois Largest Verdicts and Settlement. He has set precedent law in Illinois on a number of occasions and many of his cases have been the subject of numerous media articles and interviews, including The Chicago Tribune, Crains Chicago Business, The Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, The Near North News, Skyline and River North News. For the past four consecutive years he has been named as an Illinois “Superlawyer” (the top 5% of Illinois attorneys as voted by the legal community)

Mr. Brustin was previously Chairman for many years of the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA) Advisory Board, a former member of the 3 person Citizens Advisory Committee to the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), and former Board Member of The Adventurer’s Club, Chicago. He is an Advisory Member of READ, INC. (Rural Education and Development), an organization which builds libraries and funds rural education throughout the Third World, including Nepal, is a Founder’s Board Member of Teen Living, a charity for homeless and troubled teens in the Chicago area. He is also the Founder and Co-Host of “An Evening with the Judges”, discussion panels for inner city youth and an Advisory Board Member of the DePaul University Finance Committee and a Board Member of the American Nepal Medical Foundation.

Marvin Brustin is a much requested speaker/lecturer at numerous professional events and Unions concerning injured worker’s rights and trial techniques and has received many awards and special tributes from various organizations including the Outstanding Contribution Award from the Baptist Ministers Conference of Chicago and Vicinity, the Support of the City of Chicago Minority Youth Award from the Evening Star Baptist Church, the Service Award from the Greater Unity M.B. Church, a special tribute by the Baptist Ministers Conference of Greater Chicago and Vicinity at the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Chicago Breakfast Celebration, the Outstanding and Inspiring Leadership Award from the Consul General of India, Chicago Consulate, and many others.

Mr. Brustin has been the attorney for seven of the last eight Presidents of the Baptist Ministers Conference of Chicago and Vicinity.

Marvin A. Brustin’s education includes DePaul University of Illinois and DePaul Law School. He was admitted to the Bar in 1961. He served on active military duty in the U.S. Army and received an Honorable Discharge.

His hobbies include world travel, mountain trekking and limited climbing all over the world including Mt. Everest, skiing, running, and raising heirloom vegetables at his Indiana farm.
