Leader of Nepali Congress, former DPM/FM and CA Member Hon. Sujata Koirala addressing the 6th Global Forum on UNAOC (United Nations Alliance of Civilization) in Bali, Indonesia said, “I am hopeful that the global initiative for sustainable development will bear fruits for everybody living on this planet.” We all need to work seriously to integrate all three dimensions of sustainable development: economic development, social and human development and environmental development. Hon. Koirala was speaking on “Ecological Civilization: Time Calling for Common Values.”Koirala also said that the leadership of IESCO, especially Prof. Dr Jiang Mingjun deserves special appreciation for his noble initiative which can play an instrumental role in re-establishing the symbiotic relationship of mutual respect between people development and nature. The 6th Global Forum of UN Alliance of Civilization was inaugurated by the President of Indonesia Mr Susilo Bambangin Nusa Dua Convention Center in Bali amidst a large number of participants from different nations, UN and other International Agencies which also was addressed by UN General Secretary Ban Ki-moon, 68th UN General Assembly President John W Ashe, UN High Representative for the Alliance of Civilizations Nassir Abdulaziz Al-Nasser and Foreign Minister of Indonesia R M Marty M. Natalegawa. The 6th UNAOC Forum was held in Bali, Indonesia from 28-30 Aug 2014.
